McKinney Real Estate Photography

Hey, I'm Trey, the owner of Bywaters Media. I'm a short drive down 75 in Plano, and McKinney keeps me busy. It might be the most varied city in Collin County to photograph. In one week you can shoot a 100-year-old house near the square, a golf-course home in Craig Ranch and a brand-new build up off 380.
Historic Downtown McKinney is a gem. The square, the brick storefronts and the old homes on the tree-lined streets around it deserve photos that show off the character, not just the square footage. In Stonebridge Ranch, with its 70-plus villages, lakes and trails, it's worth getting the community amenities in the shot. Adriatica, the Croatian-style village inside Stonebridge with the bell tower and Bella Donna Chapel on the water, is one of the most photographed places in North Texas, and a quick aerial makes any nearby listing pop. Craig Ranch, wrapped around TPC Craig Ranch near the Sam Rayburn Tollway, sells golf and green space. Front-porch neighborhoods like Tucker Hill look best at golden hour or twilight.

McKinney real estate photography FAQs
How fast do I get everything back?
Photos and floor plans come the next day. Video takes 24–48 hours, and Matterport tours take 2–3 days. Everything comes as an online download link, sized for MLS.
Can you fly a drone near McKinney National Airport?
Often, yes. McKinney National Airport has controlled airspace around it. I'm FAA Part 107 certified, and I get FAA authorization before I fly anywhere that needs it. If an address can't be flown, I'll let you know up front.
Can you shoot a historic home near the square with lots of trees?
Yes. I'll pick the right time of day for the light and use drone angles when the trees block the front of the house.
What should the seller do before I show up?
Lights on, ceiling fans and TVs off, cars out of the driveway, garage doors closed, counters cleared and toilet seats down. My full checklist is on the Preparation Guide, so send it to your seller ahead of time.
Do you cover north McKinney and the 380 corridor?
Yes, all of McKinney and the rest of Collin County. For land and acreage, my Lot Package ($249) pairs aerials with approximate lot lines and ground photos. Book online or call or text 512-619-3178.
